One process for any wig – It’s easy and simple!
If you can, pull your hair back low and tight at the base of your neck in a ponyloop. A pony loop is a ponytail that is not pulled all the way through the last time you wrap the elastic band around it. Your ponyloop should be in the lowest possible spot on the back of your neck and make sure it is as tight as possible. This will anchor your wig for proper placement.
Next, hold your wig in front of you with the tag at the top and your hands on the adjustment straps. Place the cap right above your eyebrows and stretch the wig over your head and over your pony loop. Use your thumbs to tuck in the pony
loop so your neckline is flat against the back of your neck.
Adjust your tabs located on the edge of your wig to be aligned evenly IN FRONT of your ears. Ears should be free and NOT underneath. This way, you are reassured that the wig has been placed evenly and properly each time.
The last step is to slide the cap upward with both hands until you see your hairline. When you see your hairline or the desired area where you want to place the wig, let go. This will be your position for natural-looking placement.
Fluff and style with your fingertips! Practice makes perfect! Don’t be afraid to really dig your fingers in and style your piece any way you like.
Back teasing, if done lightly, can also help you custom style your new look.
